We have a new interview with Gale. He talks about "Crystals, Madness, and Tornadoes of Pain."

"Charles has some pretty interesting psychology. Do you feel like you have him figured out by now or does every script shed a new light on him?

I don't think that I've figured him out because I don't think he can be figured out. He's got so many problems. He's got so many things he's got to solve or convince himself that he's solving or deal with the fact that he's already convinced himself that he's solved them. Which is the behavior of a madman. There's no way. Just everything he does is kind of doomed, right? And so he's just scrambling to survive. Which is great for me because there's always something around the corner. You can't predict it.

Another article mentioning The Secret Circle and Charles (Beware of Spoilers)!

"A lot of pain," Harold teases of what's in store for Charles and Diana post-Blackwell reveal. "A lot of pain and suspicion. There's deep suspicion and betrayal. It's like a combination of betrayal and pain. And there's not really anything Charles can do about it. And it's kind of his fault as well. Yeah, it's bad." [...continue]

Another article mentioning The Secret Circle and Charles (Beware of Spoilers)!

Talking about Charles and Blackwell, Gale said:
"They’re dealing with their children — the next generation — and what this circle means and how they can use it as a way to survive, but, also, they’re trying to stay away from the seduction of power.”

A new article mentioning The Secret Circle (Beware of Spoilers):

"Any scoop on Nick's return to The Secret Circle? So excited they are bringing him back. He was my favorite character!
We know someone else who is excited about Nick's return: Gale Harold, he whose character Charles murdered Nick! "It's a great thing—no, it's not a great thing, it's a horrible thing, but it's a good thing in terms of something to play because the last time that Charles saw him was underwater and Charles' hands were around his throat," Harold tells us. "It's great that he's coming back, but it's problematic as well." Hm…will Charles' devious ways finally catch up with him? Sounds like it!

The first season finale of The Secret Circle airs on Thursday, May 10, and the network has just put out an official description with some spoilers. Since it has spoilers for the episode that aired this past week’s show, we now know why it didn’t go out before. Enjoy:

CASSIE AND DIANA UNLEASH THEIR DARK MAGIC, CHARLES AND DAWN GET A SHOT AT RESTORING THEIR POWERS AND FAYE FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE IN THIS JAW-DROPPNG SEASON FINALE — After Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) is attacked by the Witch Hunters, Jake (Chris Zylka), Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Adam (Thomas Dekker) set out to save her. Blackwell (guest star Joe Lando) tells Cassie (Britt Robertson) and Diana (Shelley Hennig) that the only way to stop the Witch Hunters is to use their Balcoin blood to unleash the Crystal Skull. Diana is reluctant, but Cassie convinces her it’s the only way to help their friend, but she’ll need to tap into her dark magic to do it. Meanwhile, Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) and Charles (Gale Harold) are faced with a new way to get their power back…but at a very big cost. Dave Barrett directed the episode written by Andrew Miller & Andrea Newman (#122).

A new article mentioning The secret circle (Beware of Spoilers):

Anything good on the Secret Circle finale? While I hate to see this show go on hiatus, I’m smelling a big cliffhanger… — Emma
Then that’s a good nose you have! Because Gale Harold told me that’s exactly what’s in store. But it sounds like it has more layers than a Super Bowl dip. “It’s not a straightforward cliffhanger,” he says. “It’s loaded with confusion. It’s loaded with overlaps. Everything is getting twisted inside of itself. These people are getting drawn outside of the physical realm of reality [in terms of their magic] and at the same time, they have to deal with each other every day [as normal people]. So I think that’s going to be the nature of the finale.” Also, Emma, what, pray tell, does a cliffhanger smell like exactly? Wait, nevermind. I probably don’t want to know.

Gale talks about Charles' plan, his relationship with Diana and much more in a new interview to The Hollywood Reporter!

"He's just trying to stay afloat," Harold tells THR. "He's got to get, if he can, Blackwell out of the way and he's going to have to use Jane (Ashley Crow) somehow. I don't think Charles really knows if she's on his side or if she's actually insane."

From Jarett Wieselman su Twitter 3 fun facts from Gale's interview:

"Gale Harold interview inexplicably eaten by tape recorder. Sorry #SecretCirlce fans - but are 3 fun facts I remember from the interview: 1. Charles has been M.I.A. because of a juice cleanse. 2. The haircut wasn't dictated by Gale or Secret Circle. 3. Gale wouldn't speculate on season two chances for fear of cursing the show. "And let's face it, we've cursed eachother enough for one season," he laughed"
