Hello Everyone! It looks like Marc Cherry, creator of “Desperate Housewives”, is thinking about killing off a fan-favourite character during the November sweeps. Michael Ausiello – yes, him again – posted an article today with all his speculations about the possible candidates to the supposed death. The last character he mentions is Jackson, the character Gale played last season on DH. Basically, Jackson would be back, after being deported to Canada, only to be killed off. I think there’s no need for us to tell you how much we don’t like this assumption! Bring Gale back only to kill his character? No, thank you.
Obviously these are just Ausiello’s speculations and we all know how much he likes to stir up trouble… who knows? Maybe he even thought to mention Jackson so he’d have fun watching fans of Gale run to comment on his article. Everything’s possible.

“It’s a classic soap opera twist: A well-liked character vanishes, only to return on the very day tragedy strikes. But Cherry wouldn’t be that cruel… or would he?”

Well, one could say it’s nice to read written from Ausiello that a character played by Gale is “well-liked”. Small victories, you know?

Hello Everyone! Today’s post it’s a bit of an off-topic so you won’t find news or pictures here… just a few explanations.

First of all, I want to thank everyone for signing up for the newsletter; the number of people signing up increases every day, and I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I am also very happy that you enjoyed the calendar. A few of you guys even left comments but I couldn’t reply to everyone due to lack of free time… please know that I appreciate every single comment! THANK YOU!

To be honest, though, I don’t think it’s fair for me to take all the credit for what gets posted on the website, and that’s why, in this post, I want to let you all know what every admin and “volunteer” does here.

Chicca, Sunshine and Simo are the ones translating everything, from english to italian and vice-versa.

Also, aside from myself, the ones posting news on the website are Chicca and Sunshine, and recently Simo started too. It all depends on who’s free at the moment…

If I can’t take care of updating the LJ myself, and this happens basically every day, Chicca and Claudia do it for me (but I’m the one replying to comments!!)

Twitter, instead, is Claudia’s job, even if obviously she consults with me.
People that find and send me news and pictures are Manù and Chicca, plus recently Katia, Lory Giuly, Ale and Calie.

The website about “Queer as Folk” is all taken care of by Simo and Ale therefore you are completely free to ask them for every kind of information.

Helping with the transaltions, when RL allows them to, we also have Lalla and Monia. Thank you to Julia and Sarit too.

All this to let you know that it’s not just me working here, we are a team and we all work together as one. They help me a lot and I’m very grateful to each and every one of them. I hope I’m not forgetting anyone… if I did… please forgive me!
I also need to apologize for not replying to a few emails… I will do it soon, I promise!

It looks like Gale has been at the John Doe & Xene's (a punk rock band) show in Glendale, CA, yesterday night. A couple of reports describe him as "talking with a couple of friends just inside the door. Wearing a black shirt and grey-black jeans, and looking mighty fine. He was thin but really fine."

No one approached him or spoke to him...

Meantime, we keep waiting for possible pics and reports of tomorrow when Gale will attend the Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing's Garden Party Event...

Hello Everyone! Gale will be guest star at the Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing's Garden Party Event on October 11th! As you can read HERE!

The 2009 Garden Party to benefit Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing will be held from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday, October 11th 2009 at the Hancock Park Estate of Ms. Dayna Devon and Dr. Brent Moelleken in Los Angeles, CA. This year's event is entitled "Celebrating Equality's Pioneers" -celebrating the courage of past generations, honoring their revolutionary leadership and accomplishments which allow us the many liberties that the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and elder communities are able to enjoy today.

The event is open to the general public and will offer exceptional food, cocktails, a fantastic silent auction, fashion show by Andrew Christian, entertainment by Mental Head Circus, music by DJ Griffin White and a special tribute to our LGBT seniors. This year's distinguished honorees are Leeza Gibbons (Leeza's Place) who will be bestowed with the Ron S. Gelb Community Service Award and Sharon Gless (Queer As Folk, Hannah Free) who is the recipient of the first annual Triangle Pioneer Award.

This annual event will feature celebrity guest appearances (among the others) by:
